Not Windows Store Logo Upload App

To download apps

  1. Download the app to a Windows 8 machine
  2. Install: this will install both a metro app and an installer service.
  3. Browse apps by category, click/tap to install.
  4. On Error: Try right-clicking and run as admin on c:\NotWindowsStore\Metro\add-appxdevpackage.bat

To upload apps

  1. In Visual Studio 10 click Store -> Create App Package. In the wizard:
  2. In the wizard click Build a package to use locally only -> Next -> Build
  3. Click the upload button above and upload the .appx and .cer files that you just generated.
